Commission Activity Information about the changes (called change reasons, transaction or subtransaction types in contract systems) made to the business transaction (in the operational system).
There can be multiple commission activities according to the commission case. A commission activity is determined by commission activity types .
Commission determination in Incentive and Commission Management always takes place on the basis of commission-relevant activities. The delivering system transfers the necessary object data and the information on changes to Incentive and Commission Management, as well as general information (see also: Commission Case ) and the data for the participants in the business transaction.
The commission activity is saved as it is delivered to the commission case (in the primary entry ). The necessary incoming checks are executed.
Have all required entries been made?
Are the transferred object type and the higher-level object type valid?
Is the triggering method valid?
What participations are there?
The processing status for the commission case is then set to “accepted” and the delivered commission activities are created in Incentive and Commission Management.
Every commission activity refers to an object.
A commission activity includes the following data (key data is highlighted in bold ):
Commission case number
Commission case version : Version (without further attributes for period management)
Commission activity number
Triggering object type
: Type of object changes by the business transaction (contract, policy, customer, coverage, risk)
Triggering object ID
: ID for the object changed by the business transaction (contract 4711, for example)
Triggering method
: Change type for the object (creation, change, tariff change, risk increase)
Commission participation number
: Number for the commission participation that belongs to this change
The change type is described by the triggering method .
If single commission activities are only executed by single participants, an appropriate reference is delivered to a participation by the delivering system. If more than one participation is available for the business transaction, every commission activity must be assigned to these participations.
