Application Toolbar

Use

The choice of pushbuttons available on the application toolbar depends on which BRF object you call. For example, with expressions and actions you can call a where-used list, and with events you can view a network graphic.

The following table lists all push buttons available in the application toolbar of the BRF Workbench:

Display

You choose this pushbutton to switch to change mode or display mode of the BRF object.

Full Screen

You choose this pushbutton to hide the navigation tree. The system then only displays the maintenance screen.

To display the navigation tree again, choose the same button.

Check Everything

You choose this pushbutton to check the correctness of all BRF objects of an application class.

Prepare BRF Application Class

You choose this pushbutton to call a wizard. This wizard guides you through the first steps in creating an application class.

Network Graphic

You choose this pushbutton to call up the network graphic for an event.

Event

(only if you are in rule maintenance for an event; see Creating Rules for an Event)

Where-Used List

You choose this pushbutton to call up a where-used list for an expression or action.

Expression

Action

Switch On/Off Rule Sets

For more information, see Switching On/Off Rule Sets.

Rule Set

If history management is active for a rule set, this function is not available. For more information, see History Management of BRF Objects.

Activate

If history management is switched on, you can choose this pushbutton to activate BRF objects, in other words set the status of the object from D (for In Development) to A (for Active).

All

This function is only available if the following conditions are met:

  • History management is switched on in the application class.

  • The current maintenance class supports history management.
