Where-Used List for an Expression or Action

Use

You can view a where-used list for each expression and each (abstract) action. This where-used list contains all BRF objects within the relevant application class in which the expression or action is used.

To differentiate between abstract and concrete actions, see Action.

Prerequisites

You have implemented the where-used list for your application tables (see Where-Used List).

Activities

To call the where-used list:

  1. Call the expression or action in display or change mode.

  2. Choose Where-Used List in the toolbar.

The system displays a list of those BRF objects in which the expression or action is used. This list is sorted by event, expression, action, and rule set. From this list, you can double-click to navigate to the relevant BRF object.
