NSR Catalog
The NSR catalog contains the NSR classification services (NSR = Nursing Staff Regulation).
This catalog is required for automatically classifying the patient into a patient group using the nursing services entered in i.s.h.med. For this purpose, you must assign an in-house catalog service to an NSR classification service.
You define this catalog as the NSR catalog in the system parameter N1PFLKAT
. The NSR classification criteria directly match the service codes.
You assign a nursing service from the in-house service catalog to an NSR classification service contained in the NSR catalog using a separate assignment type which you define in the system parameter N1PFLZUO.
The classification services in the NSR catalog are structured as follows:
E Adult nursing care
K Pediatric nursing care
Position
G General nursing care
S Special nursing care
Position
1 Basic services
2 Extended services
3 Special services
General and special nursing care service categories
F Newborns
K Children
J Juveniles
Position
Adult care
Subdivision of service categories where frequency must be included
Position
Pediatric nursing care
Subdivision of service categories where frequency must be included
You can use the OU-related parameter N2PPRANZ
to specify for an organizational unit in your institution how many days into the past you can execute a correction of the NSR classification (based on the system date) when you are processing the service (in the nursing category).
You can use the report RN2UPPR0
to execute Automatic NSR Classification for patients (case classification) using the nursing services entered in i.s.h.med.
Recommendation
You should periodically schedule the report RN2UPPR0
so that it is automatically performed by the system.
