Display Contract Assignments

Use

This function allows you to display contract assignments.

Integration

It is part of Sales and is available to you in the Contract and Order menus as follows:

Prerequisites

Contract assignments that have been created during contract determination are to be displayed. You want to display the billing datasets and rate indicators that can be assigned to a contract and the advertisers who have placed the orders.

You have created contracts and entered orders.

Billing datasets that were generated for an order could be assigned to at least one contract during contract determination.

Features

You can display the contract assignments that could be created during contract determination in sales document processing, contract editing and contract monitoring. The view of contract assignments created is distinguished as follows in these areas:

Function	View
Edit sales documents	The system displays all contracts to which billing datasets generated for this sales document could be assigned.
Display or change contracts	The system displays all billing datasets that can be assigned to this contract.
Monitor contracts	The system displays all billing datasets that match the selection criteria and can be assigned to a contract.

Contract assignments are displayed in a table:

In sales document processing, contract assignments are sorted in ascending order by billing dataset numbers.
In contract editing and monitoring, these assignments are sorted in ascending order by order numbers.

You can use the Sort ascending and Sort descending functions to sort these assignments differently from the predefined sort sequence.

Contract data, order data, business partner data and assignment data is displayed in the table for each contract assignment.

In addition to the functions for editing the table, the following functions are available to you for editing contract assignments and contracts:

Display contract standing	Contract editing, contract monitoring	You want to access the current standing for the selected contract from the overview screen to check whether a media customer has sold the agreed number of advertising services within the defined period. See also: Display Contract Standing
Create contract assignments	Sales document processing, contract editing , contract monitoring	You want to access the detail screen from the overview screen and assign a billing dataset to the selected contract. You should enter the order, item and billing dataset number. You should also enter discount conditions and rate indicators. You can only create a contract assignment if the service date for the billing dataset falls within the contract validity period.
Change contract assignments	Sales document processing, contract editing , contract monitoring	You want to access the detail screen from the overview screen and change the data for the selected contract assignment. You can change the rate and assignment indicators.
Reassign contract assignments	Sales document processing, contract editing , contract monitoring	You want to assign the selected contract assignment to a different contract. Once you have reassigned the contract assignment, the system displays the old and new contract assignment. The Level of manual influence field contains the value defined in Customizing for both assignments. The system sets a deletion flag in the old contract assignment. In contrast to a deleted assignment, the system does not recalculate discount that has been granted as a result of a contract assignment that has been reassigned to contract B from contract A. This discount is regarded as the actual discount during the next settlement run for contract B.
Remove contract assignments	Sales document processing, contract editing , contract monitoring	You want to remove the selected contract assignment. The assignment is removed from the contract but is not assigned to a different contract in contrast to the Reassign contract function. Discount that is granted by the assignment that has been removed is not recalculated during the subsequent settlement. Discount granted by this assignment remains valid.
Delete contract assignments	Sales document processing, contract editing , contract monitoring	You want to delete the selected contract assignment. The system sets a deletion flag in the selected contract assignment. The contract assignment is removed from the contract standing.
Restore contract assignments	Sales document processing, contract editing , contract monitoring	You want to reverse the deletion flag in the selected contract assignment. The contract assignment is added to the contract standing.
