Deleting Disposal Documents This procedure describes how you delete a disposal document, in other words how you set the deletion indicator for a disposal document. The disposal document is not physically deleted from the database, but it can no longer be displayed afterwards.
Note
If you delete a disposal document in SAP
EH&S Waste Management
, this disposal document is displayed with a deletion indicator and remains available in the system. The disposal document number remains linked to the deleted disposal document and cannot be assigned again. This is of special importance when the number represents an authority-assigned disposal document number.
For more information, see SAP Note 753894.
You have set the
Delete
indicator for at least one status under
Specify Processing Status for Disposal Documents
in Customizing for
Waste Management
. In the standard system, this is only the status
New
(
Created

The disposal document that you want to delete has a status for which you have set this indicator.
In the Waste Management menu , choose one of the following paths:
The
Display
Disposal Document
or
Change Disposal Document
screen appears.
In the overview tree, double-click the disposal document that you want to delete. If you cannot find the disposal document in the overview tree, you can search for it as described under Searching for Disposal Documents .
Choose
with the quick info text

.
The disposal document is assigned the deletion indicator and is no longer displayed in the overview tree.
If the disposal document contains a waste approval , a waste code , and a waste quantity, the waste quantity is deducted from the quantity disposed of in the waste approval (see Automatic Quantity Update ).
