Waste ApprovalDocument prescribed by law or defined within an enterprise relating to the permissibility of the planned disposal of certain wastes.
Example
In Germany, the waste approval directive (NachwV) stipulates the waste approvals for hazardous waste. A waste approval stipulates, among other things, the maximum quantity of waste belonging to a certain waste code that can be generated and disposed of over a specified time period.
Each waste approval belongs to a waste approval type that controls the data entry and further processing of data in the waste approval.
You can enter the following data, for example, for a waste approval (see Editing Waste Approvals ):
Waste management business partners involved
Waste codes to which the waste approval applies
Licensed waste quantity
Processing status of the waste approval
By assigning the corresponding processing status, you can release a waste approval (see Releasing Waste Approvals ).
The data in released waste approvals is automatically transferred to some places in
Waste Management
and used for checks (see
Result
section under
Releasing Waste Approvals
).
