Monitoring and Documentation of the Disposal Document Return

Purpose

In certain cases, laws and regulations stipulate that a copy of a disposal document has to be sent back to the waste generator by the waste disposer within a certain period ( return-within period). This process describes how you monitor and document this disposal document return leg in Waste Management .

Process Flow

  1. You enter the handover date for the disposal document, meaning the date on which the waste generator handed over the disposal document to the waste transporter (see Editing Disposal Documents ).

  2. From time to time, you check for which disposal documents the return-within period has been exceeded. You can run this check manually or set it up as a job and execute it periodically (see Return Date Check ). You can display a clear list of the disposal documents for which the return-within period is exceeded (see Simplified Disposal Document Display in List Form ).

  3. If the waste generator has received the copy of the disposal document, add the acceptance date , meaning the date on which the waste generator received the copy of the disposal document from the waste disposer (see Editing Disposal Documents ).

  4. You set the relevant status for the disposal document , for example, the status RET (Returned).
