Entry Document
Definition
Document that identifies the waste entry.
Use
Entry documents are the starting point for
disposal processing
. In the entry document, you document which waste generator generated which
waste
and when, and the quantity of waste that was produced. The entry document also contains the data required for
disposal processing
in the other SAP components. This includes the
storage location and
storage bin
as well as account assignment data.
Structure
Each entry document belongs to an
entry document category
. In Customizing for
Waste Management
, you can specify various entry document categories in the IMG activity
Specify Document Categories
and enter data for each entry document category that controls data entry and further processing of the data in
disposal processing
