Which Data Is Transferred to the Inspection Plan? The EH&S-QM interface creates the following parts of an inspection plan:
Inspection plan header
Operations
Material assignment
Inspection characteristics
In the following table, you can see the fields that are filled by the system in the inspection plan, provided you have specified the respective values (see Basic Settings and Editing Data Relevant for Inspection Plans ).

If a specification in a value assignment type that is relevant for inspection plan creation contains several value assignment instances with identical usages, the system does not transfer this data to the inspection plan.Wenn der Prüfplan noch nicht vorhanden ist, legt ihn das System zwar an, er enthält jedoch keine Prüfmerkmale und Sie erhalten eine Fehlermeldung im Protokoll. If the inspection plan does not yet exist, the system creates it but it does not contain any inspection characteristics and an error message appears in the log.

Master inspection characteristic (with plant and version) |
If you specified a master inspection characteristic in the mapping table , the corresponding content is transferred. The version is always the version valid at the time the inspection plan was created. |
Short text for inspection characteristic |
The following different cases can be distinguished when transferring a short text: If an inspection characteristic is created with reference to a master inspection characteristic that already has a short text, this short text is transferred. If an inspection characteristic is created without reference to a master inspection characteristic, the description of the value assignment type is transferred in the language specified in the environment parameter EHQMEP_LANGU (see Basic Settings ). If a number of inspection characteristics are created from one value assignment type, the short text is made up of both the description of the value assignment type and the description of the characteristic value (20 of the 40 characters are available for each part of the short text). If a number of inspection characteristics are created from a composition, the short text of the master inspection characteristic is transferred if a reference to a master inspection characteristic exists. If no reference to a master inspection characteristic exists, an identifier from the specification is transferred as the short text. The identifier is determined by the system using the priorities specified in Customizing for
If you also want the long text for phrases to be transferred as the long text for the inspection characteristic, you must implement the customer exit

The version is always the version valid at the time the inspection plan was created. |
Unit of measure |
The unit of measure is transferred that is specified in the definition of the class characteristic. |
Decimal places |
You specify the number of decimal places in this field. The number of decimal places is not taken from the definition of the class characteristic, but derived from the entry for the characteristic in the value assignment type. If you specify several values with different numbers of decimal places, the greatest number of decimal places is always relevant for this field. |

The system does not distinguish between “less than” and “less than or equal to,” or “greater than” and “greater than or equal to” when it converts the values from
