Edit Generation Variant

  1. In the Basic Data and Tools menu, choose Start of the navigation path Report Definition Next navigation step Edit Generation Variants End of the navigation path.

    The initial screen appears for that specification category.

  2. On the initial screen, enter your search criteria (see Searching for Generation Variants) and choose the quick info text Hit List.

    You go to the hit list, if the SAP system found data records matching your search criteria. See Basic Functions in the Hit List.

  3. Select the variants you want to edit.

    Note Note

    The functions of the Edit menu are available for selected variants.

    To copy an existing variant, select it and choose Start of the navigation path Variant Next navigation step Copy Template End of the navigation path .
