Language-Dependent and Language-Independent Data in SAP EH&S
Use
The following data that you can enter in SAP component Environment, Health and Safety
(EH&S
) is language-dependent:
Basic Data and Tools
Industrial Hygiene and Safety
Work area documentation (short descriptions of work areas and descriptions of work areas using user-defined texts)
The conversion programs in EH&S NLS ensure that language-dependent Customizing data and parameter values are also output correctly on EH&S reports.
All other data that you enter must be language-independent, that is, this data can only be made up of characters that appear in all code pages used.
