POS modes
Prerequisites:
To manually modify configuration files, you need to log in to the operating system with a user account that has permission to edit files in the POS Client installation directory.
The POS modes have been designed to support different fields of application.
They differ, among others, with regard to their
- user interface,
- menus,
- processes and supported functions.
The POS mode must have been set before the POS Client starts. An exception is Self Checkout/POS, where it is possible to change the mode when the POS Client is operating.
This chapter describes how to configure the different POS modes.
