Use AI to create a BPMN model (diagram) from a text description of a business process.
Context
With AI-assisted process modeler, you can reduce work and enable faster collaboration cycles by converting text into a business process model. You can preview the model and edit the text to create a new model, if needed.
Make further adjustments to the model in SAP Signavio Process Manager editor and save as subsequent revisions.
Procedure
In SAP Signavio Process Collaboration Hub, choose Create and select Create with AI from the drop-down.
In the Select a folder window, choose a location to store the model and confirm with Create.
For the initial use of the text to process feature, a window with a welcome message opens. You can select the option to not show the message again or clear the message by choosing Start Using.
In the Create a process field, write or paste text that follows these instructions:
Clearly define the process that you want to model, including its objectives and outcomes.
Describe each activity or task in the process.
Determine the start and end points of the process, as well as any key milestones.
Avoid using personal data.
Choose Create.
The model preview window opens. From the preview window, you can do the following:
Review dictionary links: If the generated model includes process elements containing terms that match dictionary entries in your workspace, you see a list of those entries below the model. Review the list and decide which elements you'd like to link to existing entries in the dictionary. For more information, see Dictionary Entries in AI-Assisted Process Modeler.
Zoom in and out of the model to see it more clearly.
Choose to show or hide a mini map of the model.
The default formatting settings apply to the model, but you can modify them in the next step. For more information about formatting, see Format models in the SAP Signavio Process Manager User Guide.
Review the model and choose Save and Edit.
Results
The model opens in the SAP Signavio Process Manager editor.
Documentation for the entire process and each individual task within the model are added automatically in the editor. You can view the documentation for the following:
Entire process: Select Attributes from the right-side panel and check the Documentation field in the Main Attributes section.
A specific task: Select the task in the model and review the Documentation field again.
This documentation helps you access the most essential information about the model in textual format, without cluttering the model itself.
You can review the information and choose to save the model using the toolbar. For more information, see Open and Save Diagrams.
