Overwriting Default Parameter ValuesYou have authorization to overwrite default parameters.
Call your worklist (see Editing Worklists for Reports ).
When the report tree is displayed, choose Change View
to select the view that contains the report applications for which your report is to be displayed. Depending on the report category, the following views are possible:
Report Category | View | Objects (Report Application) |
|---|---|---|
|
| Material ( |
Report without material reference and without reference to work area |
| Specification ( |
|
| Work area (work area) and assigned agents (specification master) |
|
| Accident event (person affected) |
Position the cursor on the required line of the report and choose Parameter Values
to display the parameter values.
If the SAP system cannot determine a specific object key, a dialog box appears in which you must specify to which object the report is assigned. The SAP system uses the generation variant to recognize for which report applications symbols were created on the report template and queries the relevant object keys for them.
The SAP system cannot, for example, assign a specific material itself if a number of materials are assigned to a report, but you have called the specification view so that the dialog box for manual assignment appears.
The same dialog box appears if you toggle to a view in which there is no assignment in the SAP system between a report and the object that belongs to the view, but symbols for this object's report application are present on the report. In this case, the SAP system displays in the report tree the text DEFAULT KEY
that you must replace with the specific object key.
Note
In the case of extended safety data sheets, the Maintain Report View and Object Key
dialog box is displayed. The report view eSDS (All Data)
is set by default. This means that you cannot choose a report view in the checkbox.
The SAP system then displays all symbols of the type
Parameter
and the determined parameter values.
Check the parameter values and overwrite them if necessary.
Go back and choose
to view the report in Microsoft Word.
Note
If you choose Display eSDS on Front End - Contains Customer-/Material-Specific Data
or Display eSDS on Front End - Does Not Contain Customer-/Material-Specific Data
, the report and eSDS attachment are displayed in Microsoft Word.
