Using Additional Functions in Report Management

 

You can use several additional functions to edit selected reports. To select a report, position the cursor on the report line and choose Select Subtree .

The report is displayed in Microsoft Word. The prerequisite for this is it must not have status RR ( Report request ).

The report and eSDS attachment are displayed in Microsoft Word. The prerequisite for this is it must not have status RR ( Report request ) and must contain an MIC repeating group. To display the report, you have to select a report view to which specific output rules apply (see Output Rules for the Report Views During Generation of Final Reports in Selecting the Report View ). The parameter values for Customer and Material are not taken into account when the data is output.

The status log is displayed together with information on the specification key, generation variant, and so on.

The SAP system displays the parameter values that you can overwrite in report management (see Overwriting Default Parameter Values ).

You can compare two selected reports.

If you want to print a report by choosing Start of the navigation path Report Next navigation step Print End of the navigation path , you can enter the print parameters here. After you exit the transaction, the SAP system uses the print parameters defined under Start of the navigation path System Next navigation step User Profile Next navigation step Own Data. A dialog box appears in which you can choose a default work area and a default material.

The SAP system saves the default material in your user parameters. You can display these parameters by choosing Start of the navigation path System Next navigation step User Profile Next navigation step Own Data End of the navigation path .

A dialog box appears in which you can choose an initiator. The SAP system saves the initiator in your user parameters.

Note Note

If you call a report template in display mode only, Microsoft Word is called without the WWI menu option.

If you display a document in print preview, you must close it before you can display a second document from the SAP system. If you do not, an error message is displayed.
