Procedure documentationDestroying Employer Data Using HRPA_PREMP

You use archiving object HR: Other/Previous Employers (HRPA_PREMP) to destroy data about an employee's other or previous employers after a specified retention periods has expired. The archiving object destroys data from infotype Other/Previous Employers (0023).

The following programs are available for HRPA_PREMP:

Program

Function

RP_PA_PREMP_PRE

Preprocessing

RP_PA_PREMP_WRI

Write

RP_PA_PREMP_DEL

Delete

If the data relating an employee's previous employer is relevant for a legal case, you can block the destruction of the corresponding data records. To do so, in the infotype Legal Hold (3246), create a legal hold for the employee's data, which is stored in infotype 0023. In the data destruction session, the personnel number is skipped and the data records remain in the system. For more information, see Legal Hold.
