Order and Notification List
You can use the order and notification list to generate worklists of maintenance orders and maintenance notifications for processing. You can define and configure these lists in a way that reflects how work is organized in your organization.

You have defined and configured queries for the order and notification list. For more information, see Configuration of Order and Notification List POWL.
The order and notification list shows you crucial information for each order or notification at a glance, for example, priority, start and end dates, and responsible work center. To see more detailed information about an order or a notification, you simply select it in the list. Further information is subsequently displayed on the General Data
, Location Data
, and Organization Data
tabs. The Work Permits
tab is displayed for WCM-relevant orders only. For more information about this tab, see the section below.
Depending on your requirements, you can specify whether a piece of information is displayed directly in the list as basic information, or on the General Data
tab page when an order or a notification is selected. It is also possible to add customer-specific information that is not included in the standard delivery. You can customize the display of order and notification information by configuring the layout of the order and notification list (see Configuration of Order and Notification POWL) and enhancing the generic user interface building blocks (GUIBBs) used in the Order and Notification List
iView (see Floorplan Manager for Web Dynpro ABAP).
The following information is displayed in the order and notification list as basic information by default:
Number, type, and description of the order or notification
Associated order or notification
Priority
Reference object
Start and end dates
System statuses
Responsible work center
Work permit and work permit phase
Information about work permits is available only for WCM-relevant orders.
You can use this function to change the status of the selected order or notification. Only those statuses that are currently possible for the object type selected are available.
You can use this function to print the shop papers of the selected order or notification either physically to an actual output device or virtually to the job card (output device Job Card
). For more information, see Printing.
If an order is WCM-relevant, then when you select it in the order and notification list, detailed information about assigned work permits is displayed, for example, validity period, processing status, and approval status. The following functions are also available for work permits:
Request new
Change
Display
Copy
Extend validity
Close
Note that when you request a new work permit or copy an existing one, you navigate to the work permit application. You must therefore refresh the list of work permits in the order to see the new work permit.
