Version Management of Info Objects

Use

When creating info objects different versions are created.

The individual versions of a content object are displayed in the version management for info objects. You can also activate earlier versions with the version management.

Prerequisites

Versions of an info object were created.

Key Features

The following functions are available:

Display the versions of an info object (The current version is highlighted in green).
Show and hide technical information about the individual versions (for example, key, class description)
Show and hide the display versions
Display the contents of the individual versions
Copy a version as the new current version
Display the attributes of the individual versions
Display the references between the versions
Create layouts

Activities

You select an info object in the Info Object List and call the version management by choosing Start of the navigation path Utilities Next navigation step Version Management End of the navigation path .

The colors shown in the list of versions are explained in the color key.
