Creating a Multimedia Object
Use
You can create content objects in the SAP Knowledge Warehouse without generating the HTML display format. They are called multimedia objects and have a separate Info Object Class for each area.
Prerequisites
You have logged on to the SAP Knowledge Warehouse System using SAP GUI for Windows and you are either in the initial screen or in the Info Object List.
The necessary files to generate the info objects must already exist.
Procedure
As previously described in Creating Content Objects, an info object can be created using the following options:

Drag and drop (initial screen or Info Object List) or (Info Object List)
To create a multimedia object in the Info Object List, proceed as follows:

Position the cursor in the folder in which you want to create the content object.

If you omit this step, the Folder Selection dialog box is displayed and you must specify the required folder there.

Choose .

The Info Object Class dialog box appears.

Choose the Info Object Class Multimedia Object.

The Select Source Object dialog box appears.

Go to the directory containing the required file.

Choose the file and choose Open.
It is possible to select several files. If this is the case, the Select Primary File from Source Files dialog box appears.

The dialog box Create Content Object appears.

Enter the required data for info object attributes:

Choose Copy to complete the process.
To create a multimedia object in the initial screen or in the Info Object List of the SAP Knowledge Warehouse using drag and drop, proceed as follows:
- Select the required file (or files) in the Explorer and use drag and drop to drag it to the required folder in the favorites list, the entry structure or in the Info Object List.
If more than one file has been selected, the Choose Editing Process dialog box appears. With his selection you can either generate one object with several files, or a multimedia object per file.
If 1 object is selected, the Primary File from Source Files dialog box appears.

The assignment of the files to Info Object Classes is displayed.

Choose the Info Object Class Multimedia Object, if it has not been proposed yet.

The dialog box Create Content Object appears.

Enter the required data for info object attributes:

Choose Copy to complete the process.
If in the info object list, the menu option is used, the Open dialog box appears for file selection. After Open the process is identical to the previously described procedure under drag and drop.
Result
The multimedia object is created in the SAP Knowledge Warehouse .
