Document Area
Definition
Document areas are the highest layer in content models and form the context for document processing. In an application where documents are important, different application areas can be separated from each other by document areas. Categories and repositories as well as classes can be assigned to document areas.
Use
When a document area is activated in the Knowledge Provider development layer, it is transferred to the runtime layer.
Structure
The document area contains more model objects that make up a content model. All model objects are assigned according to categories and folders. In a document area the following folders are visible:
