Connection Areas
Definition
Connection areas determine which info object classes are connected to each other across which relationship classes. Relationships are one-way dependencies - there is one source class and one target class.
A connection area represents the relationships between the info object classes of a document area.

Example of Connection Areas
In the example shown above, the source class KWT_FOLDER is linked to the target class KWT_LDOC via two different relationship classes: KW_FLDINCL and KW_FLDLINK.
In this example, the source class KWT_P_DOC references itself as a target class via the relationship class EXPORTMODL. (A target class PHIO can in turn be the source class for other PHIOs).
The relationship class LOGOBJECT shows that PHIOs in the target class KWT_L_DOC are connected with source classes KWT_P_KL1, KWT_P_KL2 and KWT_P_DOC.
