Additional Installation Information

As this sample content is using the Conversion function, additional environment setup is required before the execution of the model.

Procedure

When you have completed step 4 in the Activate All Other Functions section of Activate a Sample Content, perform the following steps to setup the environment:

  1. Above the environment function hierarchy, choose the Environment button.

  2. On the right-hand side of the screen, go to the Conversion Types tab.

  3. For each conversion type displayed here, maintain the value for:

    • Authoring Schema: Select the authoring schema for the pop-up list which points to the physical schema of the SAP source system.

    • Client: Enter the client number of the system where the environment has been imported to.

    • Exchange Rate Type: The exchange rate types available in your SAP source system vary according to the setup of the system. In general, these are either “M” or “EURX”. Contact your system administrator for the details of your specific table configuration.

    • Rates Table: Specify the technical ID of the table that contains the exchange rates. The default value is empty, which means that the TCURR – Exchange Rates table from the system will be used.

  4. Return to step 5 in the Activate All Other Functions section of Activate a Sample Content to finish the activation steps.
