Finding Full Texts for a Specific Abbreviation

On the Find Full Texts tab in transaction SLPP, you can enter an abbreviation and then display the full texts to which it is assigned in the proposal pool.

Procedure

  1. Call transaction SLPP and switch to the Find Full Texts tab.

  2. Specify a language in the Language field.

For example, if you want to find English full texts for an English abbreviation, enter enUS in this field.

  3. Enter the abbreviation whose full texts you want to display in the Abbreviation field.

  4. Choose Find Full Texts for Abbreviation.

Result

If the text that you entered is not defined as an abbreviation in the proposal pool, a message informs you that nothing was found.

If the text is defined as an abbreviation in the proposal pool, the full texts to which it is assigned are listed in a dialog box. If two characters are displayed to the left of a full text in the list, then it is a domain standard. For example, BC Company Code means that Company Code is a domain standard in the domain BC. If nothing is displayed to the left of a full text, then it is a system standard.
