Work Area

Use

The system displays article-related data for price plan items in the work area in the Price Planning Workbench (PPW). This is the area in which you perform the actual price planning. You do this by creating new prices for articles and organizational levels.

Prerequisites

You can predefine layouts for each price plan category to determine the list display of the work area and the associated dialog boxes.

For more information, see Authorization for Layout Processing .

Features

You can use the following views in the work area of the PPW.

  • Overview : The system displays the articles in the price plan with quantity values and budget values aggregated using the organizational levels.

If different values exist for different organizational levels, the system does not display any values in the corresponding list fields.

In the Final Price list field, the system displays the lowest price in the organizational levels. If different final prices exist for the organizational levels, the system highlights the Final Price list field in color.

  • Detail : For the selected articles, the system displays the data for all the lower-level organizational levels. You can enter different price planning data for the organizational levels.

In the case of manual price plans and markdown price plans, you can delete organizational levels. The system then creates a new organization set for the changed structure of the organizational level of the article.

You can use the following functions in addition to the SAP List Viewer functions:

  • You can display the articles that belong to a price article.

  • You can display the organizational levels for a price plan item with their own prices in a dialog box. Organizational levels with their own prices are assigned to the organizational level of the selected price plan item, but they have their own higher-priority sales price. For organizational levels with their own price, the system does not take into account their article stock when calculating the budget for current article items.

In the case of manual price plans and markdown price plans, you can delete the prices specific to the organizational levels and then the system transfers the price in the price plan item to these organizational levels as well. The system takes account of article stock at organizational level during budget calculations.

  • You can delete article items. The system transfers the deleted articles back to the worklist.

  • You can also explicitly reject article items in markdown price plans. These articles are then no longer available for further processing.

  • You can use the clipboard to copy items from one price plan to another. When you paste items to the clipboard, you can use the following options to transfer data:

    • Article

    • Article with organizational levels

    • Article with organizational levels and data

  • You can use the clipboard to copy articles from one price plan to another. You can also copy organizational levels and price planning data linked to the articles. When inserting articles from the clipboard, you therefore have the following options:

    • Article (if a default organization set is flagged in the target price plan, this is taken into consideration)

    • Article with organizational levels

    • Article with organizational levels and price planning data
