Manual Configuration for Advanced Adapter Engine Extended

Use

If you do not want to use the CTC Wizard to perform the basic configuration steps, you need to perform these steps manually. These steps are described in the sections below.

Prerequisites

Before you perform the basic configuration steps for usage type Advanced Adapter Engine Extended (PI-AEX) manually, ensure that at least the usage types mentioned in SAP Note 1628214 Information published on SAP site are installed (your system may contain more installed usage types). Usage type AS Java (BASIC) is used to configure the System Landscape Directory (SLD). The SLD is needed for some configuration steps for usage type Advanced Adapter Engine Extended (PI-AEX) .
