SLD Configuration

Use

This step consists of several substeps. The first two substeps check the SLD access and configuration capability of user SLD_DS_<SID> and SLD_CL<SID> .

1. Check SLD access: http(s)://<host>:<port>/sld with SLD_DS_<SID> user

2. Check SLD access: http(s)://<host>:<port>/sld with SLD_CL_<SID> user

3. Create Java HTP destination SLD_DataSupplier. See Configuring the SLD Data Supplier Destination

4. Create Java HTP destination SLD_Client. See Configuring the SLD Client Destination

5. Call SLD Data Supplier to create the Technical System. See step 8 in Configuring the SLD Data Supplier Destination

6. After waiting 60 seconds, check whether the technical system was created:

   • Logon to SLD: http(s)://<host>:<port>/sld
   • Choose Technical Systems
   • Check whether the technical system is listed and updated
   • If yes, check the Functional Unit:
     • Choose http(s)://<host>:<port>/sld/fun
     • Select the Functional Unit System Landscape Directory
     • Choose Enable manually.
