Propose Contract-Related Reconnection

Use

This procedure provides the following options when creating an installment plan or when clearing an open, disconnection-relevant item, for defining which items are considered for the reconnection proposal:

  • Reconnection is to be proposed for each contract. The system checks the open items in one contract (not all contracts) to determine whether the reconnection criteria have been met.

  • All contracts from the contract account should be considered for reconnection. The system checks whether all contracts from the contract account meet the reconnection criteria.

    Only one of the two variants can be defined in Customizing.

Procedure

  1. In Customizing for SAP Utilities, choose Start of the navigation path Customer Service Next navigation step Process Execution Next navigation step Disconnection/Reconnection Next navigation step Define Processing Variants for Disconnection Documents End of the navigation path.

  2. Select the processing variant Disconnection Dunning Level Has Been Reached (DUNN).

  3. Choose Details.

  4. Select the Cntrt-Rel. Prop (contract-related item proposal) indicator.

you want the system to propose a contract-related reconnection, you must select the Cntrt-Rel. Prop indicator. If you want all contracts in the contract account to be considered, you must not select this indicator.
