Placement Tab Page
Use
The Placement tab page in the Edit Callout Profile window is used to define the placement of callouts when using the Auto Draw or Add Selected Nodes
Features
The Placement tab page offers the following features:

Functional Description |

Circular |
Creates the callouts in a circular pattern around the object or node |
|
Object Perimeter |
Creates the callouts around the object perimeter |
|
Rectangular |
Creates the callouts in a rectangular pattern, in any combination of the positions top, bottom, left, or right |

Near Object |
Positions the callout close to the associated object in any combination of the positions top, bottom, left, or right |
|
Combine for Same Part |
Produces a single callout with leaderlines to each like part. |
|
Draw One for Same Part |
Create only one callout and leaderline for duplicate parts or nodes |
|
Draw for Invisible Objects |
Create callouts for parts even if they are hidden in the viewport. |
|
Point to Mesh Edge |
Position the callout leaderline on the edge of the mesh. |
|
Interactive Draw In |
Redraws the callouts after the model has been moved. This parameter defines the number of steps required to redraw the callouts. |

Distance |
The distance for the callout from the object (only selectable if Rectangular is checked):

Always on Top |
All callouts are on top |
|
Billboarded |
Controls the scaling of callouts. |
