Portfolios

Use

A Portfolio is a collection of specific model views.

Examples of this concept are the following:

  • Standard Views Portfolio

  • Iso Views Portfolio

  • Line Illustration Portfolio

A single .rh file can contain Technical Illustration, Raytrace, Standard Isometric and Shaded Illustration portfolios that contain specific model views in each portfolio.

Activities

Creating a Portfolio

  1. Open the Model Views and Portfolios panel.

  2. Right-click and choose New Portfolio.

  3. Right-click the new portfolio in the Model Views and Portfolios panel, and choose Rename Portfolio.

  4. Do one of the following:

  • Choose Create.

  • Right-click the new portfolio in the Model Views and Portfolios panel and select Create Model View to add additional model views.

Deleting a Portfolio

Right-click the portfolio that you wish to delete in the Model Views and Portfolios panel, and choose Delete Portfolio.

Duplicating a Portfolio

Right-click the portfolio that you wish to duplicate in the Model Views and Portfolios panel, and choose Duplicate.

Rendering the Portfolio to a Raster File

  1. Right-click the portfolio that you wish to render in the Model Views and Portfolios panel, and choose Render to Raster.

  2. Modify your raster settings as required, and choose OK.

Editing a Portfolio’s Properties

  1. Right-click the portfolio that you wish to edit, and choose Portfolio Properties.

  2. Edit the properties as required, and choose OK.

Sorting Model Views within a Portfolio

  1. Select the portfolio that you wish to sort in the Model Views and Portfolios panel.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • Choose Sort Portfolio in Ascending Order in the Model Views and Portfolios panel.

    • Choose Sort Portfolio in Descending Order in the Model Views and Portfolios panel.

Expanding and Collapsing Model Views within Portfolios

  1. Do one of the following:

    • Choose Expand All in the Model Views and Portfolios panel to expand all model views within the portfolios.

    • Choose Collapse All in the Model Views and Portfolios panel to collapse all model views to portfolio level.
