Model Views and Portfolios Panel

Use

You can use the Model Views and Portfolios panel to control all user-defined model views and portfolios. You can create and delete both model views and portfolios, and modify their properties.

The panel can be resized, moved, floated, docked, and closed similar to the functionality in most Windows applications. It also includes a context-sensitive right-click menu that relates to model view functionality. Further options include activating the views, editing their names, and rendering them to various outputs.

Create

Creates a model view based on the current camera, render mode, and selected objects

Delete

Deletes the selected model view

Thumbnails

Displays a thumbnail view with the name of each file

Sort Portfolio in Ascending Order

Sorts model views in the selected portfolio by name in ascending order

Sort Portfolio in Descending Order

Sorts model views in the selected portfolio by name in descending order

Activate

Plays the model view forward

Restore Object Positions

Restores objects back to the original model view position after they've been moved.

Store Object Positions

Saves the object’s position when creating a model view

Expand All

Expands all model views at portfolio level.

Collapse All

Collapses all model views at portfolio level.
