Displaying Partitioning Objects
To participate in data aging, tables must be assigned to a data aging object as well as to a partitioning object.
Context
The SAP application delivers the partitioning objects. The assignment of tables to a partitioning object has already taken place. You can display the list of available partitioning objects. You can create and edit the partitioning groups yourself so that you can override the existing assignments of tables to partitioning objects if this is necessary.
Procedure
- Choose Customizing for Partitioning (transaction DAGPTC).
- Choose Edit Partitioning Objects to display the list of partitioning objects that the SAP application provides.
- Select an individual partitioning object and choose Tables in the Dialog Structure to display the assigned tables.
