Creating a Data Carrier in Recruitment

Prerequisites

You are working with Recruitment as a non-integrated system. Integration with Personnel Administration has not been activated in Customizing.

Procedure

  1. From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Start of the navigation path Human resources Next navigation step Personnel Management Next navigation step Recruitment Next navigation step Applicant Activity Next navigation step Transfer Applicant Date Next navigation step Execute.. End of the navigation path

  2. The Data Transfer via Data File screen appears.

  3. Enter the key for the Transfer applicant data action in the Action for hiring field.

  4. Enter data in other fields as required.

  5. The system proposes the value 2 in the Status (overall) field, allowing you to select all applicants whose overall status is To be hired.

  6. Choose .

  7. The Transfer to Local File screen appears.

  8. Enter the path under which the data is to be saved in the File name field and choose Transfer .

  9. Decide whether you want to transfer data for several applicants.

  • If not, the procedure is completed.

  • If so, the Transfer to Local File screen appears. Repeat step 6 until a data carrier has been created for all applicants to be transferred.

The Recurring Tasks: Direct Transfer of Applicant Data screen appears.

Result

The data to be transferred is stored on the specified data carrier. The data carrier can now be imported into Personnel Administration .
