The Form Toolbar

The package editor displays the period mode and allows you to display guidelines, freeze and unfreeze rows and columns, copy a link to the open form, display cells as read only, and search within a form.

Display Guidelines

If guidelines that explain how to use the form were created when defining the form, to display and hide these guidelines, choose  Guidelines.

Freeze and Unfreeze

When you open a form, some rows and columns are frozen by default. You can change which rows and columns are frozen, and freeze and unfreeze, using the cell context menu or choose Freeze and Unfreeze.

Copy a Link to the Open Form

You can copy a dynamic link for the selected form. For more information, see Copy a Dynamic Link for a Form.

Display Cells as Read Only

If the form is designed with read-only cells where data entry isn't allowed, you can choose whether or not you want to display these cells as read only. Even if you don't display a cell as read only and you enter an amount in a cell where data entry isn’t allowed, when you save the form, the amount entered is not saved and the cell is displayed with a red border.

Find a Value

The search makes it easier for you to find values and texts within the grid display in a form. For more information, see Find a Value in the Grid Display.
