Creating a Confirmation

Create confirmation for an operation using the operation object page.

Prerequisites

To create a confirmation for a work order operation:
  • You must not be the owner of the operation but must have edit rights (CONFIRMATION_EDIT role) to the operation.

  • You must be connected to the owner of the Work Order.

Procedure

  1. Open the Work Orders application.
  2. Select the operation for which you want to create confirmations.
  3. Click on the Confirmations tab and click Create.
  4. Enter the mandatory and other optional information as required in the New Confirmation dialog and click OK.

Results

The same procedure can be performed by selecting multiple operations and from the Manage Work Orders page.

Once created, the default status of a confirmation is New. As the owner of a confirmation, you can maintain documents for a given confirmation using the Documents section of a confirmation object page.
