What is an Audit Structure

An audit structure is a collection of transactions and documents that an auditor requires to perform an audit. The audit structure is technically an area menu of SAP NetWeaver Application Server (SAP NetWeaver AS) ABAP.

A developer of a system can create an audit structure for the auditor. External auditing companies or SAP partners can provide their own audit structures to import into your system. SAP also provides a set of auditing structures for you to use.

Use Area Menu Maintenance (transaction SE43) to view, modify, extend, and transport these workbench objects.
