Deleting a Product

Use

You can delete individual versions of a product or delete a product together with all its existing product versions.

Prerequisites

At least one product with one version must exist in the system, with one of the following statuses:

  • Parked/new product

  • Parked/new version

  • Parked/revised version

  • Inactive

    You can only delete inactive versions in the following cases:

    • If no contracts exist in the system that are based on that particular product version

    • If no condition tables are assigned to the product

  • Flagged for archiving

Procedure

  1. In the SAP Easy Access menu choose Start of the navigation path Accounting Next navigation step Bank Applications Next navigation step Loans Management Next navigation step Current Settings Next navigation step Consumer Loan or Installment Loan Next navigation step Products and Conditions Next navigation step Product Next navigation step Delete End of the navigation path .

  2. Enter the technical name of the product you want to delete.

    If you only want to delete a specific version of the product, enter the version. Choose Execute.
