Assigning Profiles to Products

Use

You use this function to assign profiles to your loan products as part of your settings for field selection control. Using profiles, you can determine whether and in which way fields are made available for the product.

You can only use this function for loans that are based on the product category Installment Loans (360).

Integration

When creating Products , on which loan contracts are based, you can present the customer with individualized, standardized loan offers using the Field Selection Control.

Prerequisites

You need to have completed the following IMG activities for the Field Selection Control :
- Define Organization Profiles
- Assign Organization Profiles to Company Codes
- Define Field Status for Organization Profiles
- Define Profiles
- Define Field Status for Profiles
You have defined a product to which you want to assign a profile, in the application under Current Settings Installment Loans Products and Conditions Product Create.

Scope of Functions

Along with the application you also need to select a component, such as Master Data or Conditions, for which you want to make an assignment.

You can assign exactly one profile to each loan product for each company code and contract status and so provide it with a specific field status.

Activities

In the SAP Easy Access menu choose Accounting Bank Applications Loans Management Current Settings Installment Loans Products and Conditions Field Selection Control Assign Profiles to Products .
Enter your data and save.
