Off-Cycle Payroll The
Off-Cycle Workbench
provides functions that are not part of regular payroll. In contrast to normal payroll, where you create payroll results for employees on a regularly scheduled basis, the off-cycle payroll function lets you run payroll whenever you wish.
To use the off-cycle functionality, you must set up the system appropriately by carrying out the Customizing activity in the Implementation Guide (IMG), under: .

Off-Cycle Workbench
allows you to carry out the following activities:
Regular Payroll-on-Demand
Running regular on-demand payroll for specified employees for a payroll period
Payment History
Displaying previous payroll results relating to payments for a specific employee.
Remuneration Statement
Displaying and producing a remuneration statement for off-cycle payroll runs
