Off-Cycle Payroll

Purpose

The Off-Cycle Workbench provides functions that are not part of regular payroll. In contrast to normal payroll, where you create payroll results for employees on a regularly scheduled basis, the off-cycle payroll function lets you run payroll whenever you wish.

Implementation Considerations

To use the off-cycle functionality, you must set up the system appropriately by carrying out the Customizing activity in the Implementation Guide (IMG), under: Start of the navigation path Payroll: Great Britain Next navigation step On-Demand Payroll End of the navigation path .

Features

In the Payroll component for Great Britain, the Off-Cycle Workbench allows you to carry out the following activities:

  • Regular Payroll-on-Demand

    Running regular on-demand payroll for specified employees for a payroll period

  • Payment History

    Displaying previous payroll results relating to payments for a specific employee.

    Remuneration Statement

    Displaying and producing a remuneration statement for off-cycle payroll runs
