public interface DataFormat

A representation of the model object 'Data Format'.

This object represents the format to which business object values can be displayed.

The BI Semantic Layer Java SDK supports predefined and custom data formats.

Both types of data formats can be numeric or date-time. The predefined numeric formats are defined in the PredefinedNumberFormatType enum. The predefined date-time formats are defined in the PredefinedDateTimeFormatType enum.

Any other custom format created with the BI Semantic Layer Java SDK patterns is supported. Custom formats that are not recognized as patterns are considered as simple strings. The SDK does not throw any error in that case.
