public interface AggregateIncompatibility

A representation of the model object 'Aggregate Incompatibility'.

This object defines the incompatibility between some business layer objects and an aggregate table of the database. Possible compatible or incompatible objects are only dimensions, measures, attributes, native, and business filters.

• If the item is at the same level of aggregation or higher, it is compatible with the aggregate table.
• If the item is at a lower level of aggregation, it is incompatible.
• If the item is unrelated to the aggregate table, it is incompatible.

For example:

• The sales amount summed by year is at a higher aggregation level than the amount summed by quarter. So it is compatible.
• The sales amount summed by day is at a lower aggregation level than the amount summed by quarter. It is incompatible.
• The month dimension does not belong to the [year, country, sales retail, sales amount] table. It is incompatible.

In the information design tool, the user defines incompatible objects in the Aggregate Navigation dialog box. See the Information Design Tool User Guide for more information.

Returns the value of the 'Table Name' attribute.

This is the name of the table that contains objects incompatible with the aggregate table.

Returns:

the value of the 'Table Name' attribute.

Sets the value of the 'Table Name' attribute.

This is the name of the table that contains objects incompatible with the aggregate table.

This table can be one of the following: an alias table, a derived table, or a federated table.

Parameters:

value - the new value of the 'Table Name' attribute.

Returns the value of the 'Incompatible Objects' reference list. The list contents are of type BlItem.

This is the list of business layer items that are incompatible with the aggregate table.
