Interface DataFederatorSourceInfo

public interface DataFederatorSourceInfo

Each connection link to a MultiSourceDataFoundation has an instance of DataFederatorSourceInfo.

Use DataFoundationFactory.createDataFederatorSourceInfo(String, String, MultiSourceDataFoundation) to instantiate a new data federator source info with its connection path and short name.

The following features are supported:

• Short Name
• Connection Path

Method Detail

getShortName

java.lang.String getShortName()

Returns the value of the 'Short Name' attribute. The default value is "".

The short name identifies a connection in the multisource-enabled data foundation.

Returns:

the value of the 'Short Name' attribute.

This is the path to a local connection shortcut. Only RelationalConnection and DataFederatorConnection are supported.
