Distribution of Load Identifications (ALE)

Use

In SAPOil&Gas, changes to the master record of a load ID are logged as change pointers. Then, the change pointer that is set when the load ID is released , is evaluated, the IDocs are set up for the changed load ID, and the IDocs are sent to the corresponding TAS groups. This takes place using the message type for the load IDoc OILLID.

The Customizing settings for the load ID type determine whether the assigned master data is also sent. When you activate this function, if there are entries in the control fields or the additional control fields for the load ID, additional segments of the IDoc are populated. These fields are:

  • Ship-to party

  • Customer

  • Material (the plant and/or storage location are needed to get a detailed specification and to fill all the segments)

  • Vehicle

  • Driver

Prerequisites

If the load ID distribution program is started, entries for modified master data within control fields are also evaluated. This means that if data in a master record has been changed (for example, the driver) since the last distribution, all load IDs that have that master data record in a control field or additional control field, are also sent.

You activate this function in table TBD62 by choosing Start of the navigation path Tools Next navigation step ALE Next navigation step ALE Development Next navigation step BAPIs Next navigation step Change Next navigation step Define change-relevant fields End of the navigation path .

In table TBD62 and for message type OILLID, enter the following change document fields, for which the change pointers should be written. This allows you to distribute the changes you make to a master data object, to other systems:

  • OILDRIVER

  • OILVEHICLE

  • MATERIAL

  • DEBI

Activities

Choose Start of the navigation path Logistics Next navigation step Sales and Distribution Next navigation step Bulk transportation Next navigation step Interfaces Next navigation step TAS Interface Next navigation step Environment Next navigation step IDoc via ChgPointer.Enter OILLID as the message type and run the program. End of the navigation path

All load IDs that have a change pointer are sent to the corresponding TAS groups.
