Evaluation of Questionnaires In risk analysis, you can make use of questionnaires and checklists, which you have completed, for example, during the course of a site inspection of the work area. Using the
questionnaire
analysis method, you can analyze the answers and then let the system calculate the
rating or assign a rating manually.
You access the questionnaires you assigned to the work area in
work area management
. See
Use of Questionnaires and Checklists
.
The result of the questionnaire analysis is taken into account when the main rating is calculated.
The following prerequisites must be fulfilled for you to be able to use the function:
The questionnaires must exist and must be assigned to the work area for which you are making the risk assessment.
For more information on creating questionnaires, see Use of Questionnaires and Checklists .
The questionnaires must be completed and closed.
The questionnaires and the risk assessment must relate to the same operation status of the work area.
For the system to be able to calculate the rating from the answers, you must have made the required settings in Customizing for
Industrial Hygiene and Safety
under
Set Up Analysis Method Questionnaire
.
Note
As default, the user exit ANLS_QRSRAT with the function module CBIH_LB33_UE_RATING_COMP is called for the calculation. This function module evaluates the weighting of the questions and calculates the rating according to the threshold values assigned in Customizing.
You can make a separate evaluation for each questionnaire and assign a rating in each case. You can either set the rating yourself or allow the system to calculate it.
To evaulate a questionnaire, first use the input help to select the questionnaire you want to analyze. The input help displays all questionnaires that can be analyzed in accordance with the above prerequisites. Once you have selected the questionnaire, the system displays a list of the questions and answers in the questionnaire (question and answer list) in the lower half of the tab page.
You can display the whole questionnaire by choosing
Display questionn
.
If you set the rating manually, you can indicate in the question and answer list those answers that were important in reaching your decision using the relevancy indicator
R
.
When the system calculates the rating, the relevancy indicator is not taken into account. Instead, the
weighting
of the answers from the question and answer list is evaluated in the determination routine shipped with the standard system.
Note
You assign the weighting when you create the catalog entries for the questionnaire.
You can restrict the contents of the question and answer list in Customizing. You can specify that only selected parts of the questionnaire appear, depending on the agent type. See
Set Up Analysis Method Questionnaire
in Customizing for
Industrial Hygiene and Safety
. However, you can still display the whole questionnaire by choosing
Display questionn
.
