Industrial Hygiene and Safety DataYou can use this function to enter information and statements that apply to the work area as a whole (for example, emergency numbers).
You can use the
industrial hygiene and safety data
as a source for generating
reports
such as standard operating procedures.
The
industrial hygiene and safety data
is displayed using tab pages. The standard system includes the
Ind. hygiene and safety data
tab page, which contains the following input fields:
Description of task
Safety equipment and devices
Special safety measures
Emergency number
Emergency plan

The
industrial hygiene and safety data
is linked to the central SAP function
Classification System
. This allows you to modify the scope of functions as you wish by creating your own individual tab pages and fields or changing the default tab page. You make the necessary settings in Customizing for
Industrial Hygiene and Safety
under
Assign Value Assignment Types to Classes
.
To be able to print the contents of the newly created fields on reports, you must create the required symbols manually. You do this in Customizing for
Product Safety
in the
Report Generation
section by processing the IMG activity
Check and Specify Report Symbols
.
Before you can enter industrial hygiene and safety data in the system, you must have already used
phrase management
in the SAP
Product Safety
component to store the values of the input fields as
phrases
in a phrase set. For more information, see
Create Phrase Sets
in Customizing for
Industrial Hygiene and Safety.
You access the function by choosing
Industrial hygiene and safety data
in the
hit list
.
