Changing Work Areas Without Versioning

You want to change the data stored for a work area without saving the historical version. This can be useful if, for example, you simply want to correct input errors. To do this, you change the data record without creating a new version. Compare Changing Work Areas with Versioning .

The display mode for these transactions does not lock processing. This means that you can chage data at the same time as another user displays this data.

Procedure

  1. From the Industrial Hygiene and Safety menu, choose Start of the navigation path Work areas Next navigation step Edit work areas. End of the navigation path

    The Edit Work Area: Initial Screen appears.

  2. Enter your search parameters and choose or .

    This takes you to the hit list .

  3. Choose the work area you want to change.

  4. Navigate to the function whose data you want to change.

  5. Make your changes and save them.
