Versions of Incident/Accident Log Entries

Use

If you have to subsequently change an incident/accident log entry, but want to retain the historical form for documentation purposes, you can assign a version to the incident/accident log entry.

Assigning a version to an incident/accident log entry means you limit the validity of the original entry to a key date and thus create two versions:

  • The original version (end of validity: key date -1)

  • The version valid from the key date (validity unlimited or end of validity 12/31/9999)

Integration

In the Reporting (EHS-IHS-REP) component you can create an overview of all versions of the incident/accident log entry. For more information, see Utilities .

Prerequisites

You can only assign versions to incident/accident log entries whose end of validity is unlimited.

Features

The version applies to all data of the incident/accident log entry with the exception of the multiple restrictions.

The incident/accident log entry whose validity is limited can only be displayed and no longer changed.

Activities

You create a search query for the incident/accident log entry to which you want to assign a version. You specify the day on which the data record is have a version assigned as the key date . You then select the relevant incident/accident log entry in the hit list and choose Assign Version . This completes the versioning process.

Note Note

Under Start of the navigation path Utilities Next navigation step Administration Info End of the navigation path you can see which key date the current version was created on and when the entry was created.

End of the note.
