Status Editing for Amounts

Use

This function provides a release process for exposure amounts in work areas. The status indicates which position in the release process the amount has reached.

Prerequisites

You have entered the exposure amount by using one of the following functions:

Amount Determination

Amounts in risk assessment

Activities

Determine the required amount.

In the risk assessment component, run a search for the agent in the relevant work area. In the hit list , choose the required data record (that is, the required risk assessment) and call the Amounts function.

Change the status.

You can change the status in accordance with the status network . Use the In Process ( ), Release ( ), or Set Historical ( ) pushbuttons to make the changes.

The status Historical is the end point of status processing.

When you assign the status Historical, the amount can only be displayed and can no longer edited. However, you can still delete the amount.

You can display the status log by choosing . All status changes are displayed here with the person who made the change.

Explanation

The status Created is assigned by the system when you create the amount.

Example: The status of the amount is In Process. From here, the status can be set to Released.

The Handling the Status Switch Business Add-In (BAdI) is available in the IMG for Industrial Hygiene and Safety. The BAdI is called before the status switch and enables you to perform follow-on activities, such as checks.
