Creating a Technical User
Use
Use this procedure to create a user for system to system communication. In most cases, applications create their own users for communication automatically; however, some applications require you to create such a user manually.
Prerequisites
Assuming you have already installed the application that requires the technical user, you must know the user name and password that the application uses.
Procedure
- Start identity management.

- In the Search view, choose User.
- Choose Create User.
- In the Details view, on the General Informationtab, enter the following data:
- Log On ID
- Password
- Last Name
- Set Security Policy to Technical User.
- Choose Save.
