Distribution of the Telecommunications Services Object If you have created an individual object (IBase) on the basis of the template IBase you defined previously, the system does not transfer the telecommunications services object into the
RM-CA
System yet. This means that you must define the template IBase accordingly and also activate object transfer in the
RM-CA
System.
Since the product queue from Middleware is used to distribute the telecommunications services object, the corresponding product BDoc must be enhanced accordingly.
Define attribute as a telecommunications services object
Choose the following in the Customizing settings for Customer Relationship Management:
If you have selected the primary set type (set type, which was created previously and contains the
SAP_PRIMARY
attribute), choose the attribute overview. Select the attribute that represents the telecommunications services object. This can be a telephone number, an IP address or another key that is identified uniquely. The
Is ID
indicator should be activated for this attribute. If you are using the
Telecom Sales
application, you must select this indicator so that the application can determine the field in which the telecommunications object is to be saved.
Add primary set type to BDoc
a.Choose the following in the SAP Menu: (Transaction COMM_ATTRSET).
b.Choose
c. Enter the primary set type only in the
Transport Set Types
screen area. You must also select the
Create
API Append
indicator.
d. Select the
Include in Transport Request
button.
The system performs the release and the product BDoc is enhanced automatically.
Activate telecommunications services object
a. Use transaction
SM30
to access the
CRMSUBTAB
table.
b. Choose the
New entries
button.
c. Include the following entry in the plug-in table so that the system also takes account of the telecommunications services object when it reads the product BDoc.
